Impossible. Only the state itself can rename a state, through its own constitutional amendment and legislative or voter approval. The President of the United States and federal agencies have no legal authority to change a state’s name.
This is getting out of hand…

Your sense of humor needs a reset. Trump is trolling Lefty, brilliantly. Not quite at the level of Canada as Gay North Dakota but still worthy. You have to admit, Gulf of America was decent, albeit not peak. They’re still fuming over that one.

Personally I love the Gulf of America Idea.
Lake America, slaps the Canadians. Not really effective. “THEY” still call it Lake Ontario.
Well as to the “reset” I did not author that video, just shared it to keep you up to date.

Again it wasn’t the big guy. It was one of his subordinates.
Pretty Good and “Pretty Funny”.
But getting out of hand?
The thing is, and you totally missed it, but these actions are making the Big Guy look like an ass.
Take the five grand if the Republicans stay in control. Paying for votes? Offering this makes him look like a bribing demon-crat.
Almost guaranteeing a demon-crat success.

I got news for you. “They” still call it the Gulf of Mexico, meaning other countries. Frankly, I don’t give a rat’s ass what “they” call it, most especially Canucks.

Guess what? Bribing voters is exactly how the Dems win elections. Do you want to win or just cling to _muh principles_? Granted, this one was a bit ham-handed, but still.
