I’m talkin’ bout the movie which is playing now. Silly, yuh. Sad, in bits ( but like in the classic flicks you can see the sad bits coming). Long?yuh, 3 hrs 9 minutes. A movie about movies, there’s even a bit of Edweard Muybridge’s stuff in there.
But— I’m recommending it. It was a great night out. Fellini’s “Satyricon” meets “Nightmare Alley”. It’s a cold dark January— I think you’d enjoy the star light.

Glad you enjoyed the movie, Hyp. For the benefit of those of us who chose to live under rocks and consequently have never heard of “Babylon” as a movie instead of as a city, could you please share a little more about the film.

It’s about “pre-code” Hollywood, 1926, when movies were just switching over to “talkies”. The stars are Margot Robbie and Brad Pitt, as two actors who made it big in silent movies, and kinda get caught in the gears when the wheel of the zeitgeist cranks out another revolution. Um….can’t think of much more to say about it…questions?
