According to the criminal complaint, on January 14, 2026, members of the Federal Bureau of Investigation were assisting Department of Homeland Security officers as part of an ongoing federal operation in the Twin Cities, Minnesota metropolitan area. That evening, FBI personnel were operating on Minneapolis’s North Side in support of a DHS arrest operation that resulted in the use of force. As a result of the ensuing civil unrest, FBI and DHS personnel were forced to abandon their vehicles and property at the scene. Individuals in the crowd forced entry into an unmarked FBI vehicle and stole its contents. The contents included a Colt M16A1 rifle and a HUXWRX Suppressor, among other items.

A middle-aged woman in Portland “working” as an ICE spotter runs a red light and tries to box in ICE agents.

They pull her over, but she tries to escape in her car before getting rammed by the ICE vehicle.

She then starts pleading “I'm just a mom! I'm just a mom!” pic.twitter.com/icp9MqAmnm

The legal process must drive the speed limit, no exceptions, otherwise the rule of law would be a myth

Pam Bondi is sending Walz a strongly worded letter. Well, that’s a relief. Everything should be straightened out by Monday.

Are you kidding me right now?

AG Bondi: We sent Governor Walz a very strong letter.

Host: Were there any consequences in the letter?

Bondi: Well, we’ll see. The situation is fluid.

I wish this was a joke... pic.twitter.com/2aFlOmIcPv

Look at those 2 people: why, they are….just like us!
There is a dark cold maelstrom of violence underlying our society —underlying ANY ordered society, I’m not singling the US out. It’s gotta be there if we wanna live like we do. We have for the most part successfully displaced it to pockets of urban poverty and to our huge prison population. But the mechanism to suppress murderous anarchy is there, it HAS to be. The people in the,ah, upper crust usually have no experience of it, they sit unmolested and opine in favor of more draconian laws, about the regrettable necessity for the death penalty. But at a time like this cracks appear, and some of those people dip a toe in, and get sucked under. They don’t actually believe THEIR bodies can be broken, they’ve never imagined being shot! SHOT! What?!?! no, no, no! We just wanted to be seen nearby, we just wanted to make our opinion clear! And for that we end up bloodied or DEAD?? That is an outrage, we are GOOD! (in fact “I am Good!” or “I feel Pretti!” could be the current “je suis Charlie!”)

Ladies and gents:

if you deliberately step into the trajectory of the cudgel as it’s being swung, if you jump in front of a gun in the hands of a person trained to preserve YOUR tranquil life at the cost of the lives of members of our criminal class—

you’re gonna get YOUR head broken, a bullet or two lodged in YOUR gut.

Now: what course of action does that suggest to you?

(I’m humbly asking; I have no idea whether people will decide to prudently stay outta the way, or whether they’ll run into the streets en masse, seized by a passion for self-sacrifice.)

What do YOU think, dear polymaths?
