This spacewalk by NASA astronauts Josh Cassada and Frank Rubio will install a [ISS Roll Out Solar Array](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Roll_Out_Solar_Array) (iROSA) atop an existing solar panel to upgrade the International Space Station’s (ISS) power generation capability. The EVA was delayed one day due to the ISS performing a debris avoidance maneuver to increase separation from a fragment of a Russian [Fregat-SB upper stage which exploded in orbit](https://www.spacedaily.com/reports/Russia_Probes_Explosion_of_One_of_Its_Used_Boosters_in_Orbit_999.html) on 2020-05-08 after completing its mission in 2011 and being left in orbit. A total of 65 pieces of debris were catalogued after the explosion.
