The case of the missing voters

Of course it was the right-wing hackers:

Note how she misspelled the name of the company, it’s Dominion Voting Systems. But just gets you to gape at the levels of stupidity and disinformation.

Did you mean to say that there were ~13 million missing votes in every election going back to at least, 1960?

Please don’t try to be cute. Even with preliminary numbers, comparing 2024 to 2020, the Republican vote for President was maintained or increased; the Democrat vote declined – those are the “missing votes”.

The question is this:

  1. Did “Joe Biden” really outperform the incredibly popular Barrack Obama by firing up millions of people who sat on their hands for Obama but came out and voted for “Joe”, and those masses had no interest in Kamala? (Democrat voters are sexist & racist?)

  2. Did “Joe Biden” in 2020 benefit from substantial voter fraud which was largely prevented in 2024, leaving Kamala only with actual Democrat voters … the same people who voted in 1996 for Hillary! ?

The likely answer is clear – but proving it at this stage is impossible. However, there is little doubt that history will note “Joe Biden’s” remarkable 2020 vote total.

I see no missing votes. I see a higher turnout and a winning margin (~4.4%).

Further to that, the suggestion that there were ~13 million fraudulent votes in 2020, is a statistical impossibility. That many fraudulent votes could never fly under the radar.

I already mentioned why it is illegitimate and invalid to draw a comparison between any other election and 2020. Unless you can find another election that was conducted amidst a global pandemic.

The changes that were made to accommodate voters in 2020 were unprecedented in US history. Those changes didn’t just affect the turnout, they affected the dynamics as well.

If you are going to make claims that there is evidence showing fraud but that the evidence has been destroyed then where is the evidence showing that the evidence has been destroyed?

Caddie, old boy – you really are tying yourself in knots on this one!

Yes, myself and the rest of the 70% of the population, including 30% of republicans, are tying ourselves in knots.

When you’re in the minority, you’re there for a reason.

Whether it be disbelief, or because you are a cult-follower of a cult figure (Trump) that believes anything he tells you, or are afflicted by any of the following, you’re still in the minority.

  • Conspiratorial Thinking: This describes a psychological tendency to see hidden motives or covert actions behind significant events, even without supporting evidence. People with this mindset often give weight to potential explanations that fit their suspicions and may willfully ignore evidence that contradicts their beliefs.

  • Illusory Pattern Perception: People with this cognitive bias often see connections where none exist, leading them to interpret random events as meaningful or coordinated. When presented with disconfirming evidence, they may ignore it to maintain the perceived pattern of a hidden plot.

  • Confirmation Bias and Cognitive Dissonance: These cognitive biases play a large role in supporting conspiracy beliefs. Confirmation bias is the tendency to seek out or give undue weight to information that confirms existing beliefs, while disregarding evidence that contradicts them. Cognitive dissonance occurs when individuals feel discomfort from contradictory information, which often leads them to rationalize away or outright ignore facts that undermine their theories.

  • Motivated Reasoning: This cognitive process reflects how individuals’ desires or emotional needs influence their acceptance of information. Someone engaged in motivated reasoning might selectively process information, ignoring or dismissing any facts that don’t fit their desired narrative, in order to protect their belief in a particular conspiracy.

  • Delusional Disorder (Persecutory Delusions): In rare cases, delusional disorder can involve persistent, unfounded beliefs about persecution, often taking on conspiratorial themes. Individuals with such delusions may completely disregard evidence to the contrary, as their delusions are deeply rooted and resistant to outside influence.

Come on, Caddie! The issue of election integrity is foundational for what Lefties tell us is sacred “democracy”. The topic is critically important and certainly worthy of discussion & exploration from all perspectives – but don’t clog things up with AI-generated pablum. Use your own mind, man!

I use ChatGPT and other AI tools but I mention it in the beginning of my comment

Think of it as a citation, otherwise it’s cheating/plagiarism

I should’ve given credit but forgot in this case.

For me, AI is more about simply automating research and formalizing the result, versus not having to think.

Usually I have to go through quite a few iterations with prompting and back and forth before it finally comes up with what I think is a reasonable summary of what I want to get across, and it has to fact-based, verses based on 2nd, 3rd, or 4th-hand rumor and hearsay.

Gathering verifiable statistics doesn’t require thinking, it just requires work that I find particularly boring. Another reason why I choose to use AI is because unlike a lot of what I see being floated here and there, I view it as a relatively-unbiased source of information, but only for statistics that can’t be tainted by bias, but not necessarily other more subjective topics:
