George Floyd was SARS-nCoV-2 positive, that’s the virus that causes Covid-19. The cause of death in the official autopsy report was cardiopulmonary arrest.

[Experts](https://www.pbs.org/newshour/nation/toxicologist-testifies-that-drugs-and-heart-disease-did-not-kill-george-floyd) during the trial didn’t really incorporate C19 in this equation:

> Bebarta said Floyd did not die from the low levels of fentanyl and methamphetamine in his system, nor from his heart disease and high blood pressure.

… which is an approach to defense that hasn’t yet been used.
