Student scholastic performance [PISA results](https://www.oecd.org/publication/pisa-2022-results/) are in from OECD: ![Screenshot 2023-12-06 at 8.26.21 AM](https://scanalyst.fourmilab.ch/uploads/default/original/3X/8/7/87d61f093b90163fea3dc4e41240e1a03c65a579.png) Does anyone else notice the innumeracy of the creators of this report? Hint: if you’re going to talk about the impact of school closures, look at the _difference_ in scores between 2022 and [2018](https://www.oecd.org/pisa/publications/pisa-2018-results.htm). If anything, this chart shows that numeracy is associated with fewer school closures (because of a better approach in China).
