Two Spaceships and a String: A Special Relativity Paradox Resolved

Here is more about the misnamed “Bell’s Spaceship Paradox”, which was formulated in 1959 by E. Dewan and M. Beran, then popularised by J. S. Bell in 1976. Because Bell is better known and his publications were more widely circulated, his name has stuck to the apparent paradox.
