What do Jews like this represent?
I asked him about the Jewish role in flooding the West with immigrants and how Jewish law would deal with that “nation wrecking” behavior. He responded with a very decisive distinction between good Jews and bad that wasn’t clear to me. It almost sounded like Billy Graham’s “Satanic Jews” quote from the Nixon tapes or the quote from Revelations regarding those who say they are Jews but are of the synagogue of Satan.
It’s really high time that people who identify as Jewish come clean about this whatever it is. I’m out here working 16/7 to try to get to the bottom of what’s going on in macro social phenomena with no help from “good Jews” who would most benefit.

Nobody except you knows your criteria. Maybe it would help to compare the Korean War to the Gaza war on whatever metrics you are using.
Typical criteria I would apply include destruction or confiscation of private property. Destruction of infrastructure. Forced relocation of civilians. Arrests or detention of civilians. Bombing of non military targets. Killing or wounding of civilians including any harm done indirectly (like a blockade).

As a side effect, it exposes the utterly absurd jew haters and their fellow travelers. Makes me uncomfortable to find so many among otherwise sane interlocutors.

The guys over at The Right Stuff hold Charlie Kirk’s politics in contempt because he was attempting to advance a nuanced view of Good Jews vs Bad Jews which he (as I did when I first* decided to die on that hill 3 decades ago) viewed as “Secular” vs “Observant” Jews. This, they claim, is in service of his partner in crime, Ben Shapiro.
*Sometime in the 1990s I ceased viewing the Secular vs Observant distinction as that useful since there is obviously a dogma of world dominion among major sects of the Observant.

I keep reading this thread in hopes of some illuminating point that changes my mind about issues. I haven’t been able to see that.
Gaza. That is being characterized as “genocide” by the ones losing. That is nowadays a common tactic. Sometimes it’s true, though most times when it’s claimed, it isn’t and when it’s not claimed it IS. The problem with Gaza is that an extremely vocal and militant group committed an outrageous atrocity and now, in typical fashion, claims to be the victim. IMM they deserve everything they’ve gotten and then some. Your professor makes a point of “”child sacrifice”, as if the war in Gaza is some kind of child sacrifice. The Arabs have purposely hidden or imbedded their military operations where we, as Western Civilizations, have historically been averse to fighting. But the old adage that the enemy has a say so in any war is true. IF they choose to play on our scruples, then WE have a choice: we play by our rules - and incur inordinate casualties, OR we play by their rules, in which case the women and children are expendable, depending on how the ENEMY behaves. That equation is no longer in our control. We know that the enemy looks at children as an expendable resource. We have now fought numerous wars with them to know they are perfectly fine with using children as human shields to aid their fighters in reaching the objective. THAT is their psyche. We need to show them the error of their ways.
As a responsible Western military. leader, I am perfectly willing to fight under our rules, so long as it doesn’t put my soldiers under excessive risk. The minute it does, the rules change. Time to go Medieval on them. I had this experience in RVN when as the commander of a joint Vietnamese-Marine unit I was faced with what was pretty much a standard Vietnamese tactic when we caught them stealing from us - they would draw down their rifles and threaten to shoot us. Being typical Americans, the usual response was to try to placate them so they would put down their guns. I went the other way - I ordered my squad to kick out any Vietnamese from inside a defensive circle, take up full defensive positions with weapons locked and loaded and pointed their way. Then I would go next door to the Vietnamese sector of the bunker and through my interpreter tell them that their XY Platoon had threatened my Marines, and that I had given them the order to form a defensive circle, and that if a single bullet came near my Marines - no matter from where - they would massacre that platoon. I had to do that once with each platoon of Vietnamese, and one was dense enough that I had to do it twice. BUT I made my point. The Vietnamese considered me the crazy American Marine leader and never pulled that stunt again. The Gazans need such a lesson, albeit on a much larger scale. Perhaps wiping out 3/4 of the Gazan population would do that.
Some of what that professor says is true, but he leaves out important parts. His island example is only accurate IF there is a life-threatening problem. Combat makes men grow close, in part because they depend upon each other for survival. LEADERS are NOT CHOSEN by who is the “bravest”. That is a typical academician’s error stemming from no real experience. Leaders are chosen for leadership characteristics and cutting off your hand is not a smart thing. Men understand that they need someone smart and experienced to lead. In Nam we had a pejorative term - lifer - to describe those who were in for a career in the Corps. I was told numerous times I was not a “lifer” but a “career man” as their way of distinguishing that they accepted me as a good leader, not someone to put a bullet into at the first chance to save themselves. And the saying, “Payback is a MedEvac!” was very real. The troops might not be highly educated, but they instinctively understood who gave them the best chance of survival.

The part about Jews simply confuses me.
My take on Jews has long been that they are, and remain, God’s Chosen People, despite all their misbehavior. With the coming of Christianity to the West, numerous nations became Christian (usually by royal fiat) and consequently became convinced they were God’s new Chosen People (see France, where there was a famous Frenchman who declared, “God is French.”, or the Polish, who decided they were God’s new children). That then made the Jews in their nation an embarrassment as they. represented God’s original Chosen People. And the pogroms began. Check the historical record and you find that to be true, certainly in timing, and most likely in motivation.
IMM this does not in any way degrade me or fellow Christians. We have come to Christ via personal resolve. Whether or not the Jews are/were God’s Chosen People is irrelevant. My faith is my faith, pure and simple. And Jews are Jews, just as Germans are German and French are French. The influx of arabs into Europe has changed some dynamics, but the consequences of that remains to be seen.

Born nominally Jewish to an Ashkenazi line from Eastern Europe (though I have 1% Ethiopian genes, according to 23 &Me), I remember being drawn to Christianity since childhood. Though the origins of this remain mysterious, the attraction was rather like gravity; steady, persistent and consciously mysterious to me. I suppose it may have been partially related to reading a psalm and reciting the Lord’s Prayer every morning in homeroom at public school. I look back on that brief ritual with the warmest fondness.
I recently re-connected with a friend from junior high school 8th grade named Craig. He eventually married my first love, Adeline (from third grade) and became an Episcopal priest. I reminded him of a conversation we had had 68 years ago. I don’t recall what I said to cause his response, but I vividly recall it: “Steve, you’re searching for Christ”. He didn’t remember this conversation, but I never forgot it. I now think I understand why that is.
Eight years later, at age 21, I eloped with wife #1, Lorna, who was a true musical prodigy. She had perfect pitch, could play any instrument and had been church organist and choir director since age 12! Always drawn to sacred music, I became the most reliable baritone in her then Episcopal choir. I became a friend of the rector, David King. When Lorna left me for a saxophone player at Juilliard (she eventually got a MA and Ph.D there, all on full scholarship), in utter despair, I asked David to baptize me. He did, and I became his most reliable acolyte for the early communion service each Sunday. I had always tried (and often failed) to live a Christian life. Internally, though, I remained doubting, skeptical. I remained the same Christian-adjacent, but skeptical person I had been until about 10 years ago, when I read Stephen C. Meyer’s Signature in the Cell.
That book made me an intellectually comfortable (no longer skeptical, based upon evidence) theist. A non-material God is the best explanation for the reality we observe. Next came Meyer’s Darwin’s Doubt. Here, again, the evidence clearly shows that Darwinian evolution (the religion of the new left) simply lacks the creative power to organize the vast amount of information necessary for a single living cell to come into existence, much less evolve from first common ancestor to human beings. Statistically impossible.
Then, Meyer’s Return of the God Hypothesis caused me to consider my own ability to know God. I began with a concept I read here in Scanalyst about AI. It may have been from John Walker. It was pointed out that the chasm between the consciousness/intelligence of human and an AGI would be greater than that between a bacterium and a human. Like the distances in the universe, it is simply beyond my comprehension.
So, I asked myself - given the incomprehensible gulf between God consciousness and mine, how might God reveal Himself to me in a manner I could understand? The answer was - to incarnate, to become human as part of the human family - the ground of all my existence and frame of reference. Then, I asked myself - why only once, 2000+ years ago? Answer - 2000 years in sidereal time - God’s timeframe - is minuscule. As well, the passage of knowledge and understanding through generations is absolutely ontological for us. Giving the gift of knowledge and understanding to our descendants is the font of all human progress; our species memory. It is natural and logical that our God would employ this gift, this essential faculty of ours. That ended my skepticism as to who and what Christ is. All I really had to do was stop resisting that force which had drawn me in since childhood. That’s what this particular example of a Jew represents.
In processing this thread, I am drawn toward the notion that, while I felt a mysterious pull toward Christ, some people experience a perhaps similarly-mysterious revulsion toward Jews; it may be expressed in various creative and/or oblique ways. When I resent someone, it is always for one single reason: I see some aspect of myself operating in that person and it is an element of my own character (or wish I could get away with the very behavior they are getting away with), which I do not accept or despise about myself. It is always, actually, projection. That’s the best I can do with that.
Projection seems to be THE big thing today on the left. To make a very long story short, they project their intolerance, hatred and actual blasphemy onto us. It is blasphemous in the most fundamental sense. “Thou shalt have no other Gods before ME”. Unlike those of the past, today’s would-be tyrants don’t say they are speaking for God. They think they ARE God.
They believe they have the power to judge right and wrong, good and evil. And that is way beyond “casting the first stone”. Among the reasons I believe is that I know I have received a great gift: I don’t hate anyone. Yes, there are people I believe act wrongly, some may even be evil. I may despise what they say or do, but I do not have to waste any of my being with hatred for anyone. I have been given enough humility (to the extent I have it, it is also a gift) to know I can err. If only those on the left who are celebrating the murder of Charlie Kirk realized they are similarly fallen , there could be hope in our time. There’s my Jewish/Christian two cents’ worth - for what that’s worth.

To depart slightly from the original topic – I too found Meyer’s book to be a revelation, in the scientific sense. The evidence presented in that book proves beyond reasonable doubt that the popular journalistic view of evolution by random mutations of DNA is scientifically unsupportable. And Meyer makes the point that this is widely understood by experts active in the field, although conveniently ignored by the Usual Suspects.
The conclusion I drew from Meyer’s book is that the dogma that “evolution” has been solved is wrong. Selective breeding (whether by a farmer or by Mother Nature) can definitely select traits for survival, but cannot create them. Darwinian evolution therefore is an incomplete theory, promoted by the Usual Suspects in order to be used as their religion’s alternative to God.
I don’t think Meyer’s book proves that Intelligent Design is the only possible explanation, but it certainly makes the case that Intelligent Design is a more viable & complete hypothesis than Darwinian evolution. There is much we still have to learn.

I can’t locate it now but I have posted previously a map showing the population density of Gaza vs Israel in the context of something my late colleague Bob Johnson* pointed out to me:

People are going to have to get over this word “genocide” or it will destroy the biosphere and humanity along with it due precisely to my hypothesis (called “The GOD Hypothesis” as a backhanded slap at Richard Dawkins’s moral cowardice in applying his own principles in “The Extended Phenotype” to human ecology).
In the late ‘90s, while visiting a long time friend of mine in DC we had a conversation about Jewish political power. He’d taken refuge in the DC Beltway’s insular contempt for the middle class on the strength of the trickle-down of The Worst Resource Curse aka The World Reserve Currency, through the highest MEDIAN income counties in the US. He’s now saddled with a LITERAL fentanyl drip box due to injury from a black “youth” in DC. During that conversation I expressed what might be called “HATE” for the Jews that insulate themselves from the consequences of their political influence on The Nation of Settlers. The form that “HATE” took was a statement that I anticipated with a high degree of certainty that their abuse of power regarding immigration was going to put them in a position where they were going to finally feel what they’d been doing to the rest of us and that I’d take great joy in that poetic justice.
It took me a few more years to intuit what I later discovered was a principle of evolutionary medicine involving the evolution of virulence due to what’s called “horizontal transmission”. That’s when I became sympathetic with Zionists – at least that portion of Zionists that I even later identified with those who struck a deal with the Nazis in The Transfer Agreement.
But since the fog of war had clouded the minds of everyone, including my erstwhile colleagues among the “antisemites” (one said his “jaw dropped on the floor” when he heard me say in a “right wing extremist” podcast that I considered myself to be an “Oslo Accord Zionist”) the following scenario is simply “unthinkable”:
As I’ve been saying about militia.money, we’re going to have to go on a “genocidal” rampage throughout the global economy to convert its de facto war machinery from a war of all against all to a war of life against lifelessness by adding to Genghis Khan’s “Be The Fire or Be The Fuel”, a third “or Be The State of Peace” in the form of militia.money.
Since the thing that turned me into an “antisemite” was encountering Jewish power’s opposition to a far less radical proposal to decentralize power and money in both the public and private sector in the early 1990s, so as to Make The Nation of Settlers Great Again by opening the space frontier in a manner far more ruthless and effective than Donald Trump and even Charlie Kirk can possibly conceive…

Be The Fire: Join the IDF in destroying the Muslim leaders that turned you into genocide bait and instituting militia.money in those lands.
Be The Fuel: The IDF takes everything from you, including your life.
Be The State of Peace: Institute militia.money in the Gaza Strip as an extension of the, presumed, institution of militia.money in Israel.
This sends these “boots on the ground” back where they came from to do justice within their own peoples OR permits these “boots on the ground” to participate in the militia.money monetary regime where they’ll be subject to a challenge by any individual sovereign of Greater Israel to a mutual hunt in The Biblical Wilderness where Elijah, John the Baptist and Jesus went to encounter a one-on-one relationship with Nature and Nature’s God.
Oh… is that too radical for ya’ll? Is this “militia.money” thing disconnected from turning the Unfriendly AGI called “The Global Economy” away from destroying humanity and the biosphere to bringing life to the stars?
