Current prediction/betting markets (first round polls just closed) have Le Pen’s/Bardella’s RN running at a plurality of ~258 of 577 seats. Leftist coalition is second in total votes followed by Macron.

There’s going to be consolidation on the left before the second round, so not sure that the victory of the Right is inevitable.
The left has already coalesced as the New Popular Front which consists of Green Party communists.
Ensemble or Together party is Macron centrist coalition. They don’t have anything in common with the communists except for their mutual hatred of Le Pen and National Rally.
Macron’s coalition, Ensemble, won 168 seats, 98 more than last week.
RN had 297 last week. Today, 143 seats. difference = 154
France votes for more immigration and more Islam

This is good news. The “center-left” will band together, continue to allow more immigration and Islam, and the right will grow angrier and angrier and bigger and bigger.
The French election results showed that the “alliance of dishonour” between President Emmanuel Macron and the far left effectively blocked the populist National Rally from gaining a majority despite the Le Pen party having won the most votes.
Vote harder!
Preview cuts off his message after the first paragraph…
Too bad RN aligned with Putin, they could have instead allied themselves with Macron’s center and governed.
The issue was immigration. Every party supported the status quo in immigration. Only RN wanted to close the border and deport
There was no friggin’ way that Macron was going to team up with Le Pen. Muh Russia collusion has nothing to do with this.
