Putting aside the fact that Mr Peterson is dealing with some serious mental health challenges, he is unapologetically and irretrievably a Normie. Suffice it to say that he looks and acts like a ranting homeless guy with a sandwich board reading “The end is nigh.”
To value something is to simultaneously to devalue other things… The alternative is valuelessness, which is equivalent to nihilisim.
Classic zero-sum-game thinking.
Being on one team means not being on others. This means that any given team sidelines, marginalizes, and alienates those who cannot play their game, as well as conflicting with other teams.
Binary thinking. People can belong to more than one “team.” Teams are not necessarily competetive; they can be cooperative. The main truth value of this concept is in terms of race/ethnicity, i.e., biology, about which more later.
The group must unite, but under the banner of the individual… That idea reaches its apogee in Christianity. The divine individual is masculine because the feminine is not individual.
Hard to know where to start on this word salad. But the commercial in the middle for some health scam really makes it. “Use code PETERSON and save 10%.”
He starts crying at about 12 minutes, at which point I had to stop. It was so cringe that I didn’t know where to look. The Fremdscham was just too much.
Mr Peterson is against tribalism but, de facto, he’s only against tribalism for whites. Everyone else engages in tribal behavior for their own survival and benefit (viz. Somalis). The situation in which tribalism of the sort he describes is problematic is in multicultural societies that lead to low trust. Otherwise, the various “teams” he deplores are quite capable of cooperating. Indeed, the “teams” are not exclusive: ˆTeam RFK cooperates with Team Trump and Team Gabbard in areas of mutual agreement and interest. Only Team Tranny Abortion Nose-ring Blue-hair Wacko TDS is off to the side. Bless their hearts.
