“A Safe and Predictable Outer Space Environment”

That’s the goal of the Artemis Accords, supplementing and reinforcing the 1967 Outer Space Treaty.

Safe?

Predictable?

Y’mean, like the environment here on Earth?

I think I can safely predict that interstellar “law”, like international law, will be used to restrain the activities only of the U.S. and Israel.

The environment in space can be safe and predictable within the confines of human nature’s inherent brokenness only. In a more pragmatic sense, we are simply playing King on the Mountain right now.

I guess the formerly-United States of safetyland now extends upward to the Milky Way. Speaking of milk, there was a post by some lefty state official claiming white milk is racist! I guess that means the stars in our galaxy are ‘triggering’ from now on.

A laffriot, Gerry!

Hey does anybody remember those paper straws that had some kinda little bolus of powder inside ‘em, so that when you sipped white milk, it was chocolate or strawberry milk by the time it got to your mouth? They tasted awful, especially the strawberry. But such things were marvelous in our eyes.
