If these incredibly-complex things work reliably, it would be amazing and I, for one, would be impressed. The reason is that hardly a day passes when some component of my computer use (for management of my home accounts, entertainment and surfing) doesn’t fail - during routine use. It is astoundingly frustrating!!
Last evening, for example, I was lying in bed reading on Kindle App on my iPad (which I hate because of glitches). My wife was trying to log into Hulu to watch a movie and listen over earphones, because I go to sleep earlier than she does. Anyway, Hulu, which she had used on her MacBook Air many times, wouldn’t let her past a screen demanding she permit ‘location services’ in her browser - Safari.
I checked system settings and it was already turned on; I cycled the button off then on angain. Even after restarting the MacBook, the ‘location services’ screen kept coming up. I was so infuriated, I nearly threw the thing across the room! This type of thing is a daily (at least once) occurrence. It never stops! Do you suppose fighter planes as these can perform without such “glitches”??
