LOL Love it.

I don’t think I posted this before, but I did send it off to an old friend JW.

As an aside, I did edit a cartoon for JW once depicting two dinosaurs and the meteor that hit the earth. It was during COVID. It’s here:

I hope you get a chuckle out of this…
I had sent it to JW On Sat, Jan 27, 2024 at 7:34 via email.
Maybe he posted a link here I don’t know. (We sent links back and forth about that event.)

We had a power outage here this morning. It happened at 9:30. So I powered up my generator that I have to power my house through a unique arrangement. In surfing the web, I came across some cute refrigerator magnets. Most suggest activities for children.
Here’s one I’d like to share share.

(Addendum: power out again, wind, its 11:14 PM and they expect it back on at 1:30 AM. It’s been out 5 hrs 48 minutes.)

Those growing up in the fifties and sixties, do you remember your parents telling you you;
Don’t sit so close to the television”?

Well this is why…

Even though this depiction is of a later era, the monsters were the same.

While I appreciate the sentiment, it’s likely that the refugees from NYC would overwhelmingly be right-wingers. This is especially true of the ones who move right away, before the effects of the dystopian policies are felt. They are fleeing the ideology, not its consequences.

Be heartened by the self-segregation. It is the prelude to peaceful separation, which would be the best among the possible outcomes.

Not the Jewish refugees from NYC who will vote for more socialism regardless of where they live

Still, the huge influx of NY and NJ people, as judged by the large increase of foreign license plates in North East Pennsylvania, is not welcome by the long time residents. Not only their rude driving habits, but their overall rudeness in stores and other establishments is definitely not a breath of fresh air.

I often wonder how they are living here while still keeping vehicle registration from whence they came. The law says 20 days.

I’ll bet there are countless people living here with expired NJ and NY registrations.
