At some point in my Anthro 101 course, I heard the tale 5hat when Captain Cook anchored his ships near the beaches of South Sea Islands in the 18th century, the natives didn’t see them. I’m sure this has since been debunked, but the idea was, they didn’t see them because they had never seen or imagined such a thing; they just couldn’t register the sight. It’s like Baalam whipping his poor donkey until God opens the beast’s mouth so it can say, “HEY! Don’t you SEE the big fiery angel in our path!?!”
It seems to be this way with Tulsi Gabbrd’s parting gift to us: the revelations about Covid, and Dr. Fauci’s and our government’s rôle in creating the virus, and then covering up that rôle.
As J.B. Shirk mentions in an American Thinker article today, now that we KNOW about COVID’s origins and the coverup, the most important question is unanswered:
Did they do this to us intentionally?
But I dont think it’s ever going to BE answered, because people don’t seem to even “see” what Gabbard has revealed.
Why can’t we see it?
I have a theory: it’s kinda like dissonance: the harder you had to work to get something, the more satisfied you’ll be with the result.
We all HAD to make such an huge investment in the Covid “crisis”. House arrest, enforced solitrines, a constant barrage of terroristic “information” (remember the ticker tape of deaths running at the bottom of the TV screen? Masks, vaccines, the inconvenience of finding an open store…we suffered and chafed in the elusive hope that it would END, it had to! And now that it has, we can’t bear to revisit the privation. We can’t bear to “see” a different truth from the received knowledge under the banner of which we suffered for so long. It’s like St Paul said: if this be not true, no men are greater fools.
If not that—
WHY IS NO ONE TALKING about these astonishing revelations? Not even the people who suspected the truth all along.
I’m not sure no-one is talking about them. The media are not, of course. That is because they were part of the con – a part they willingly played.
Among mere citizens, the revelations are not surprising to those of us who recognized after the Diamond Princess incident that the fearsome Covid was about as dangerous as the annual flu we have long lived with. And the blue haired women who double-masked while driving alone in their cars are never going to admit that they were lied to – of course they don’t want to talk about it. The people who were in authority – either fools or miscreants – and promoted unnecessary destructive policies certainly don’t want to talk about it.
Maybe we should get a tee-shirt made up – Fauci Did Not Fool Me!
Yes, we shouldn’t have complied, but it shows how helpless we really are.
The mask or the vaccine card were like the Mark of the Beast, without them we could neither buy nor sell.
And then there was the selfishness aspect. I wasn’t able to see my sister for the last 2 years of her life. She was immunocompromised and, much as I was sure the entire thing was a crock o’ shit, I wouldn’t take a chance on endangering her.
NO we should not forget or forgive!!! Gabbrd’s revelations should be THE main topic in the news. But they aren’t. So, loox like we ARE forgetting…

Yes. The purpose of an entity is revealed in what it does. Why is this so hard for people to accept?
Because the means of cultural production are controlled by the Regime. I was going to write the Left instead of Regime but that is somewhat misleading inasmuch as many nominally moderate or center-right individuals are complicit.
In a different world, there would be exposes in major print publications and Hollywood would be making docudramas and documentaries about this shameful episode. A Truth and Reconciliation Commission would have been convened and the guilty would be in jail.
The rape gang scandal in Britain is a similar, albeit worse, case. The media and the political class covered this up for decades, and were sometimes participants in the crimes.
Intentionality? Consider the possibility that the intended results were not achieved – mainly because the DIE Lefties are incompetent and screw up everything they touch.
Tin foil hat version of the intentionality:
(1) Lab-generated Covid was intended to be much more deadly than actually achieved. They may have been aiming for a Black Death type of epidemic, but only got an annual flu result. Fail!
(2) the “vaccine” was intended to sterilize large numbers of young women, especially Western young women who would be easily frightened into taking the injection. The “vaccine” has certainly caused medical problems, but not on the intended scale. Fail!
Since their plan failed, is it any surprise that the Kool Kids don’t want to discuss it?
Plenty of people talk about it. It’s just that the talk isn’t hyped by the MSM. You know, the still preeminent propaganda arm of the democrat party. It’s all illusory.
Mostly because they hate you and enjoy your suffering. Testing the docility of the population was just a bonus — a cherry on top of the turd sundae. The test was mostly successful but either way, they had fun. Inviting millions of third-world rapefugees is another instance of this. Trump was president when Covid hit. I wish he would say something about what HE was told. Gabbard’s revelations examined existing records, after all. Who lied to him? Because obvs someone did. Think how differently it mighta gone if he had appointed Dr. Scott Atlas instead of Fauci. What convinced him to put the guy who was SOOOO wrong about AIDS in charge? Tell us.
I always felt he operated like a good CEO: a pandemic wasn’t in his wheelhouse—get me an expert. I get that, but who sold him Fauci?

Well, Fauci was the guy at the top of the civil service tree – been there forever, earning more than the President. It would then have taken a near-impossible amount of diligence to finger Fauci as the problem instead of the solution – and Trump Ver.1 obviously was very badly served by the Far Lefties in the bureaucracy and the reprehensible Republicrats.
In England, some university punter with good connections in the English bureaucracy produced a model saying that millions would die from Covid unless the government did something. Despite the disaster of Anthropogenic Global Warming models, computer output does seem to get excessive weight in decision-making. Presumably Trump was shown that and similar models.
Seeing is believing – my first encounter with the CovidScam was a photo of a well-dressed working-age Chinese man collapsed face down on the sidewalk with two guys in full closed-environment protective suits standing there, one at his head and the other at his feet. This looks serious! It is understandable that politicians wanted to do something – whatever the “experts” recommended.
What is unforgivable is that, after the Diamond Princess cruise ship real-world events showed that Covid had about the danger level of a bad flu year, individuals in authority failed to back off.
