Building an Unilluminable Room

Is it possible to design a room entirely lined with mirrors which cannot be completely illuminated by a point light source placed at any position? This is the “illumination problem”, posed by Ernst Straus in 1950 and solved, like so many other curious problems, by Roger Penrose in 1958.

Here is a Wolfram live demonstration of the Penrose Unilluminable Room.
