I can’t help but wonder is we would be given more information if it turned out this medical condition were in an “assigned-at-birth-male astronaut suffering from whiteness as a comorbidity. Might not it offend DEI “equity” if this is an “assigned-female-at birth” and/or POC with a medical condition? Is that even possible, given the exigencies of disparate impact?
