Democracy - What is it good for?

The London Daily Mail is a rag – but at least without the pretensions of the New York Times. Hence, they occasionally publish interesting information.

Back in Dear Olde Englande, their latest (unelected) Prime Minister is having his Party Conference. Big plan apparently is to cut back on the government pensions people worked all their lives for, so he can spend the money on something else. But how representative is Burnham’s government of the people they rule?

The answer apparently is – not very representative. Don’t worry! Unelected Burnham has a plan to change the voting system to make it even less representative.

The only good news is that Burnham managed to make an important speech without once mentioning support for the Ukraine. Wonder what Zelensky thinks of that?
