Set the maximum image height for thumbnails included in posts to 1024 pixels. This is set by Settings/Files/max image height. The default of 500 pixels resulted in portrait mode images such as "infographics" being scaled down to unreadable vertical slabs. I left the max image width at the default of 690, which seems reasonable.
Minor Admin matter – please ignore if this is a nuisance.
In keeping with my philosophy of “No Anonymity Online”, I originally entered my Username as “Gavin Longmuir”. However, it seems that Discourse does not accept spaces in Usernames. I would like to change the Username to “Gavin_Longmuir”, but there does not seem to be a provision for updating Usernames.
