The system had been up for 58 days.
Made a mirror backup to Juno.
Made a backup AMI:
Scanalyst Backup 2021-12-02 ami-019e25b952c110adc
/ snap-04deade5df847aa7e
/server snap-0d1bdac882aa8f3e6
Installed 35 update packages, 12 for security, including a new
kernel, certbot, and docker.
super
yum update
Stopped Dicourse.
cd ~/discourse/image
./launcher stop app
Rebooted.
The system came up promptly after the reboot. We are now
running on kernel 4.14.252-195.483.amzn2.x86_64.
The Discourse Docker container started automatically after the
reboot and serves HTTP requests normally.
On the Discourse Upgrade manager page:
https://scanalyst.fourmilab.ch/admin/upgrade
I upgraded:
docker_manager (This upgrade must be run first:
the other upgrade buttons are
disabled until it has been updated.)
discourse-math (MathJax)
discourse-spoiler-alert
discourse
Rebuilt the Discourse image:
super
cd ~/discourse/image
git pull
./launcher rebuild app
The Admin page now reports we're running on 2.8.0.beta9.
Verified that spoilers and MathJax are working after being
updated.
Verified that our Let's Encrypt certificate is valid until
2022-01-01.
