Fighter Jet Training with the Polaris Dawn Crew

Polaris Dawn is a private space mission, planned for the first half of 2023, which will perform the first extravehicular activity (EVA) from a Crew Dragon spacecraft, testing the SpaceX EVA spacesuits for the first time. The flight will also set a new altitude record for a human Earth orbital flight, around 1400 km, and test spacecraft to ground communication using Starlink inter-satellite laser links.

In this video Everyday Astronaut Tim Dodd joins the crew for fighter jet training to acquaint them with the G-forces they’ll experience in space flight as well as decision making under pressure and time constraints.
