Finally—Artificial Gecko Feet Adhesives

Geckos can seemingly effortlessly walk on vertical and inverted surfaces, including those of glass and Teflon. How to they do it, and how do gecko feet grasp and release the surface in order to walk? Researchers are building synthetic setæ, the microstructures on geckos’ feet that allow them to accomplish these amazing feats with their little feets.
