Firefly Aerospace is planning to launch its fourth attempt at an orbital flight on 2022-12-22 in a launch window extending from 17:18 until 17:38 UTC. The launch will be from Space Launch Complex 2 at Vandenberg Space Force Base in California, aiming for a low Earth orbit at 159° inclination. The payload is a Lockheed Martin satellite called “Tantrum”, a technology demonstrator for a wideband Electronically Steerable Antenna (ESA). The payload mass is between 250 and 380 kg.
