An off-duty female police officer with no insurance in a brand-new vehicle drove through a red light and T-boned my neighbor.

No action was taken by the legal system or by the police department against this dangerous woman – nor against the auto dealer who had illegally allowed her to drive the vehicle off the lot without showing proof of insurance.

The woman then sued my neighbor for $100,000, despite the accident being incontrovertibly her fault. His insurance company paid her – telling my neighbor that it was cheaper to pay up than to contest the issue in court.

Would that Somalians were the only problem we face!

A bus driver who needed a Mandarin interpreter to understand the charges against him just had his bail increased in the fatal Thruway crash that killed 5 people.
