Frontiers of Folly: Electric Tanks for the Army

I can imagine the Pentagon PowerPoint presentation: “First, we’ll land paratroops to capture all the charging stations. Then,…”.

Since reliable new electric generating is anathema (especially nucular (sic), which makes the most sense), where do the electric vehicle devotees think the electricity for charging will come from? Also, autos contribute around 17% of greenhouse gases. Perhaps there is lower-hanging fruit than personal cars for their fervent world-saving efforts.

First I thought that this was even more nonsensical if you consider that the places we are likely to go to war with are going to be the last ones to have a charging infrastructure.

But then I realized that the present Army is planning to invade Texas, Tennessee, and Florida.
