You missed out cutting regulation and lawfare. Without cutting those, the others (although necessary) will fail.

That book was perhaps the single most destructive act in Earth’s evolution of life given the critical juncture at which the biosphere stood at the time in relation to technological civilization.

And declining student performance to boot. There is no correlation between dollars spent (including that wasted on bloated wheel-spinning staff) per pupil and outcome measures. Of course, the solution to that wee problem is to stop measuring. Tell me again - why are there public employee unions?
