You may be surprised at how many human inspectors are involved in spotting and removing unripe and damaged tomatoes all along the chain.

Mama mia! Many human hands. Looks like an awful job. How boring and repetitive.
BTW, I have been told by someone I trust (a professional investor), that if I ever visited a factory where chickens are processed commercially, I would never eat chicken again.
