Watson died yesterday at age 97. The New York Times saw fit to highlight his “racism” right up front.
It’s true that Watson was cancelled in his later years but what was the nature of this awful racism? Another word for it is truth. Or, as someone more eloquent expressed it, “He was cancelled for telling the truth while White.”
The faintest of all human passions is the love of truth.
