Latest Round of Bald-Faced Lies, Bank of (un)America edition

Bof(un)A has been de-banking conservatives and business they don’t like for only ideological reasons since at least 2012. This week, they lied outright by denying it explicitly when confronted on Joe Rogan. Of course, fellow travelers Bloomberg reiterated the lies and employed the overworked tired trope - “right wing conspiracy theory”. Leftist ideologues are uniformly noble, after all.

In 2012, BofA, without provocation, de-banked McMillan firearms, maker of the Army’s .50 cal sniper rifle only because they were in the legal gun business. They subsequently did not permit use of their credit cards for gun or ammunition purchases. In an immediate letter I informed them that I thought we had a banking relationship. Now that I understood we had a political one as well, I reminded them that politics flows in two directions and I withdrew, let’s say, a nontrivial amount of my retirement funds which had been on deposit there. Even for bankers, they are especially despicable and their smoldering, foul smelling lies are on full display today. If you use them - you ought to de-deposit and de-card them while sending them the appropriate farewell epithet beginning with F#$& you! It would be richly deserved.

Here’s hoping they face some Trump - inspired, intense, regulatory, diagnostic vault colonoscopy - without anesthesia. It is, after all an accounting instrument designed for bank a$$holes.

It would be nice to see. Even without that, these miscreants will mend their ways. The winds of change are blowing throughout the land. Just as the tech bros came around, so will the banks and other institutions — some more briskly than others. ♫The times they are a-changin’. ♪

full disclosure: I was the second moderator for the Bitcoin group on Gab. When I joined the group on Jan 6, 2021, there were 150 members. Today we have over 17,000. I keep telling Andrew (the founder of Gab) that he needs a lightning address for his shop and donations. I have told him I will do the legwork to setup his lightning address.
