More items to place on the list of those which will no longer be manufactured (or severely curtailed/rationed) in the energy-poor future planned for us by our betters. The list will be long and no aspect of life will be spared. I wonder what these are used for. Landing gear of wide-body airliners?

When I saw them, the first thing I thought of was the springs in bogies (or wheel trucks) of railroad cars.
