Something interesting happened in George Orwell’s old stomping ground a couple of weeks ago which I had not noticed reported in government-approved media. It seems that European rulers’ commitment to the self-determination of their peoples is totally absent – regardless of what the UN Charter says. Fortunately, the competence of European rulers is also mostly notable by its absence.
If Russia or China really were intent on bringing down the West, a few boatloads of weapons purchased from Ukrainian entrepreneurs and smuggled to the appropriate locations in Europe would go a long way to accomplishing that objective. Fortunately, Russia & China do not appear to act as the Evil Empires that Our Betters would have us fear.
