I originally wrote this in response to a long-time associate involved with space issues (L5 Society and Space Studies Institute), Gary Olson, who wrote an article in “DC Report” about the threat that democracy represents to tyrannical regimes like Russia. Gary has been deep inside the DC beltway culture almost his entire life. I don’t want to have to kill people like him to avoid a rhyme with The Thirty Years War.
