Total thickness is 2 millimetres. The manufacturer’s catalogue page says “Price available upon request.”, but to save time in case you need one before Christmas, it’s CHF 400,000.
The watch is designed and manufactured in the canton of Neuchâtel, Switzerland, also home to Fourmilab.
I have twice visited the Musee Internationale d’Horlogerie in La Chaux de Fonds & still coud go again - there is so much to see. The history of watchmaking and the current state of mechanical engineering is truly amazing. When electrical power can be derived from body heat or motion, I can hardly imagine what wearable hybrids of mechanical wonders plus printed circuits will achieve.
