They mention that the organs and vessels are “skeletonized” - that the connective tissue is not included in the model. I find this curious, since much of the critical work of robotic surgery involves cutting through/removing this connective tissue to reveal the organs. Reminds me of something I learned during my surgical internship: “surgery is fascia-ism”. More than a grain of truth in that!
