Rocket Lab Electron/Synspective StriX-1 Launch

Launch of Synspective’s StriX-1 synthetic aperture radar satellite is scheduled for 2022-09-15 in a 15 minute launch window starting at 20:30 UTC from pad 1B Rocket Lab’s Mahai Peninsula, New Zealand launch facility. The satellite will be placed in a 563 km Sun-synchronous circular orbit at 97° inclination and will be the first pre-commercial spacecraft in Synspective’s planned 30 satellite constellation providing frequent-revisit all-weather global radar imagery. The earlier StriX-α and StriX-β demonstration satellites were also launched by Rocket Lab.

The launch, flight to orbit, and satellite deployment were completely successful. I have cued the replay video to start one minute before liftoff.
