Talking about Rocket Lab’s Neutron with Peter Beck

Thanks for linking to that video – one of the most informative I have ever seen.

Most interesting that Peter Beck describes a rocket as a “giant engineering compromise” – that makes sense when one thinks about it. Also that the compromise includes all the ground structures (“Infrastructure sucks”).

In a sense, it was sad to hear Mr. Beck draw parallels between his proposed Neutron rocket and NASA’s 1990s DC-X reusable rocket. We have wasted so many years!
