The back fell off my 2018 Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 when stick-um let go. Put one drop of cyano in each corner, pressed with heavy books, and it seems to be holding. Since the glue was applied to the double sided sticky tape, it should still be possible to remove the back if necessary.
