Scammers come to N.E. PA

I had a phone call today, it was one of many I’ve been getting over the last few weeks.

They were always blocked by a device I have on my land line that checks the caller ID
against my “white list”.

Well curiosity got the best of me and I turned off my device for a day.

I got the call !!!

The audio of the very brief call is here: scam call

you need one of these:

That’s Great!
I’ve heard about that computer generated AI answering system.
Unfortunately I don’t have access to it.
I believe it’s only available in the UK as I remember

Until it’s available here, I have a little device I found on Amazon.
I enter the telephone numbers of “safe” callers, (friends and family) and
when a call comes in it checks the caller ID with the white list of “safe” callers.
If the calling number is not on the white list…

Well go to this link to hear what it says to the caller.
