SpaceX Booster 7 Multi-Engine Static Firing

Yesterday, 2022-08-31, SpaceX conducted a multi-engine static firing of Starship Super Heavy booster 7, on which all 33 Raptor 2 engines have now been installed. The test was expected to light three engines, but it appears only two engines were fired, for about six seconds. The characteristic “Raptor honk” can be heard at the end of the burn, indicating a normal shutdown.

At the end of the video, robo-dog Zeus is seen entering the orbital launch mount area to check things out.

On 2022-09-19, SpaceX conducted a seven engine static firing of Starship Super Heavy Booster No. 7.

Shortly after the test, Elon Musk tweeted that chamber pressure was normal in all 7 engines. Later, he added:
