SpaceX Starlink Group 5-5 Launch

SpaceX plans to launch 56 Starlink satellites into Generation 2 Group 5, with an eventual 530 km circular service orbit at 43° inclination, on 2023-03-24 at 15:43 UTC. The launch will be from Space Launch Complex 40 at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station in Florida. The first stage booster, B1067, will be making its tenth flight, after a turnaround time of 57 days since its last mission.

Here is a pre-flight preview from Everyday Astronaut.

SpaceX uses very confusing terminology. Gen. 2 is not V2.

According to a post on Twitter, SpaceX has slipped the launch time to 15:43 UTC on 2023-03-24. I have updated the main post accordingly. The Webcast player indicates it will start at 18:15 UTC. This is inconsistent with all three of the launch windows announced for today, so my guess is that it’s simply wrong.
