DC Water's Manager David Gadis: "We had too many white men in charge... The executives should reflect the city"pic.twitter.com/BqnN3olgyB
Is there any logic or principle which tells us in exactly which group enterprises this must apply? It seems to work out that anywhere there’s any minimal degree of a white majority - it’s intentional, racist wrongdoing and must be changed. By contrast, in undertakings where whites are few or absent, that’s just fine; no problem, no “disparate impact”, just “conspiracy theory” (usually that means “conspiracy FACTS”, a.k.a. “hate facts). Welcome to Babel, as micro-managed by regulatory agencies and the omniscient judiciary.
Dems and their useful idiots are so desperate for non-white officials with any competency. But you don’t get that with people who have never been held to any educational standard. In fact the farther along the educational hierarchy some minority has been hoisted, the LESS ctual competence he or she is going to have. It’s tragic—yeah, for them, and, more importantly for the rest of us who have to live under any system they’re in position to administer.
Then, when they fuck up big time (as in all the money ($850M) Mayor DiBlasio’s wife just….misplaced) everybody’s ashamed to try to hold them accountable. After all, we knew what they were—and were not—when we installed them. It’s just too embarrassing.
They do and the sewage spill also reflects the city. The quality of both is that of raw sewage.
My accelerationist side would like to see more of this. Let it be a cautionary tale and a source of amusement for the rest of us.
The quality of her work is certainly unique.

The KC-46 has also suffered a higher rate of maintenance issues than expected. Air Force officials have said the KC-135, a 65-year-old fleet type, enjoys a better readiness rating across the fleet, despite dealing with several concerns common to aging aircraft.

NEW audio from the judge who released Cambridge gunman Tyler Brown

🚨 This audio is INSANE. The judge says she has been advised by experienced officers how dangerous he is but she’s ignoring them
In 2020, Tyler Brown fired on police officers and only got 5 years. He has a 20… pic.twitter.com/sOlw4IghHP
This is not a competency issue as much as a case of suicidal empathy. Maybe we need a thread dedicated to that. It could be called Liberal White Women.

Impossible! Solar energy is green and nonpoulluting.
The kind of thing that happens when you fire all the old guys:
Okay, folks. I don’t know what to say about this. It’s a clear design flaw that I’ve spoken about dozens of times in the past. Someone at Masterlock must know better, but they seem to have designed a new padlock from scratch and just ignored this fundamental of lock design.
