Neither her nor her attorney understand where those paintings derive their value.
She will see the light when the perspective buyer asks if the big guy’s take is still 10 percent.
Right… because it was clearly the Nike store that caused the shooting.
C'est bien l'été,
et le temps arrive,
pour brûler les voitures.
Wait’ll they find out that electric cars burn much more spectacularly.
“Youth” in France have set fire to the Angela Davis primary school in Bezons, France, a suburb northwest of Paris.
Angela Davis is the communist terrorist who purchased the guns used in the 1970 Marin County (California) courthouse attack, in which four people were killed, including Judge Harold Haley. In the subsequent manhunt, Davis made the FBI’s Top Ten list.
After being acquitted of all charges by a jury who was persuaded that her owning the guns used in the attack was insufficient to connect her to it, she later travelled to the Soviet Union where she was awarded an honorary doctorate from Moscow State University. In 1979, she won the Lenin Peace Prize. On 1978-02-28, Davis asked U.S. president Jimmy Carter to intervene to prevent efforts to retrieve a child from the Jim Jones Peoples Temple cult compound, Jonestown, calling Jones “a humanitarian in the broadest sense of the word”.
In 1980 and 1984, Davis was the vice-presidential nominee of the Communist Party USA. In the 2020 U.S. presidential election, she endorsed Joe Biden.
In 1969, after Davis was hired as an assistant professor of philosophy at UCLA, she was fired by the governing Board of Regents due to her membership in the Communist Party USA. A court declared the firing illegal and ordered her re-instated, after which UCLA fired her again for use of “inflammatory language”.
Burn, baby, burn.
The suburb of Bezons also has an elementary school named after Karl Marx.
But less easily.
There probably is a TikTok video showing where/how to puncture the battery to get an EV to ignite.
Perhaps most educational is to watch this little machinima film made by kids who rioted back in 2005-2006, so you can see the thinking from their point of view:
This is a highly predictable pattern of behavior, a particularly interesting one was the 1991 war between blacks and orthodox Jews in Brooklyn. The war coincided with peak crime in New York City, here’s more data about it - it was the turning point that led to a period of relative prosperity for New York City.
However Nike is part of the evil cabal called the WEF that wants to enslave us all. I say burn baby burn.
It’s always been two tiered justice in this country.
Aside from the electricity use, there are a few additional questions that are conveniently ignored
-
How do you square the optics of “good for environment” for EVs and battery powered transportation with the reality of energy sources in the US? Increased demand for electricity remains predominantly served from fossil source (Statista link)
-
Electricity distribution network limitations – EV cars range limitations require denser charging station networks, thus placing increased demand on the electricity distribution network. In turn, this further stresses the existing distribution network, which was not designed for these load patterns. A similar situation applies to suburb residential distribution networks which were not built to sustain the demand from 1-2 EVs in every 2-car garage – you can see a growing gap between needs and investment levels (source - the maroon components more than doubles from the 2020 to 2030 reflecting a massive increase in the generation gap, though arguably the distribution side is far costlier and time consuming)
-
More batteries → more battery fires, which burn faster and longer and take a lot more effort to put out. This is not limited to EV or hybrid vehicles, and includes bicycles, scooters, etc. See this Statista article for an illustrative data point from NYC (link). A recent article (source) looked at car fires by car type and found out that when scaled by 100k vehicles sold, Hybrid/electric cars are involved in car fire incidents more often than ICE.
Seems like at the moment we are still in the ascending portion of the Gartner hype cycle (source) with inflated expectations deeming EVs as the solution to all of world’s problems, but we begin to see a bit of the deep chasm of unexpected complications that are materializing on the other side.
Tough to evaluate whether the government’s nearly unanimous consensus in support of EV technology is simply a matter of incompetence, or something else.
This is a neat scam. A few reflections:
- This is why we can’t have nice things
- We should request electric wheelchairs to save the environment
Les Carbeques sont de retour!
Two of the largest police unions in France, the Alliance Police Nationale and UNSA Police, have issued a joint communiqué, “Maintenant ça suffit”, which Le Monde, without a scintilla of irony, described as a “tract incendiare”, “Syndicats de police : un tract incendiaire d’Alliance et d’UNSA-police, révélateur de l’exaspération des troupes” (partially behind a paywall).
Here is a translation posted on Twitter by Arnaud Bertrand.
Now that’s enough…
Facing these savage hordes, asking for calm is no longer enough, it must be imposed!
Restoring the republican order and putting the apprehended beyond the capacity to harm should be the only political signals to give.
In the face of such exactions, the police family must stand together.
Our colleagues, like the majority of citizens, can no longer bear the tyranny of these violent minorities.
The time is not for union action, but for combat against these “pests”. Surrendering, capitulating, and pleasing them by laying down arms are not the solutions in light of the gravity of the situation.
All means must be put in place to restore the rule of law as quickly as possible.
Once restored, we already know that we will relive this mess that we have been enduring for decades.
For these reasons, Alliance Police Nationale and UNSA Police will take their responsibilities and warn the government from now on that at the end, we will be in action and without concrete measures for the legal protection of the Police, an appropriate penal response, significant means provided, the police will judge the extent of the consideration given.
Today the police are in combat because we are at war. Tomorrow we will be in resistance and the government will have to become aware of it.
I tried to warn “Property Rights Owners” that they should have gotten out ahead of this by supporting militia.money but they’re a bunch of junkies.
In an interview on Europe 1, Éric Zemmour pulls no punches about the chaos unfolding in France.
Here is the full interview (in French). The passage translated in the tweet above starts at 12:30 in the video.
At 2:20, he notes that since the riots in France in 2005, more than four million “immigrants” have arrived in the country and later, observes that while in 2005 they were largely concentrated in the suburbs (“banlieues”) around the big cities, now they are distributed throughout the country, including in small communities, transforming what was once a localised problem into a nationwide calamity.
That earnest student of demography, Mark Steyn, pointed out some time ago that, in terms of fighting-age males, France was rapidly approaching the point where offspring of Muslim immigrants would begin to equal and then outnumber offspring of the traditional French population. Unfortunately, Western “elites” tend not to look further than the next news cycle.
To the extent that growing problems at home start to make European countries tell the Zelensky regime to get real and start negotiating an end to the US/NATO proxy war, the French riots may end up having a positive effect for the world. It is an ill wind that blows nobody any good.
