Interesting. Politicians & their bureaucrats fix the price of home insurance at an unrealistically low level. Insurance company walks away. Homowners left with no insurance.
Likely political response – Far Left Californians will blame the insurance company. California bureaucrats & lawyers will sue the insurance company on some specious grounds. Insurance company will take massive charge to its financial base. California will set up its own taxpayer-funded insurance company which will lose money despite having the most up-to-date DIE policies in the nation and will fail to pay out on claims.
In the meantime, nothing will happen to reduce the fire danger from other foolish California government policies, which could have reduced the fire risk and thus the insurance premiums.
