The Crazy Years

How shocking! Hamas reports of the death of “innocents” fabricated or exaggerated? Unheard of (at least in the MSM)!

I am reminded of the old Stalin body double joke:

Double 1: Did you hear somebody tried to assassinate Stalin?
Double 2: Was he killed?
Double 1: Worse. He was maimed.

I guess most of us have seen work-related situations where a female was promoted not because she was the best choice for the job nor even because she was capable … but simply because she was one of the few females in the pool. The priority for the cocktail party set was boasting about promoting females, not about building the business.

One might as well ask when are the highly-compensated Directors of those companies going to start taking their responsibilities seriously?

Unfortunately, corporate governance is an accountability-free zone. This has long been the case, preceding the rise of the GirlBoss, and is not likely to change. There are, at best, weak incentives for director accountability.
