Let’s see - we know government at all levels is failing us. The legal profession abandoned its principles and duty generations ago. Culture, as judged by “entertainment” and NGO’s is a steaming pile of excrement. Now juries, as the last remnant of at least the possibility of individual virtue, won’t convict a child killer and apparently the one juror (a male) who voted consistently to convict is being called out publicly by a so-called defense attorney. Such behavior explains the heads on spikes I just couldn’t understand as a kid when I read history.
Reportedly the jury in the Clancy murder case consisted of 9 women and 3 men – although it seems that 2 of the men might better be described as soy boys.
Statistically, what is the chance of selecting a predominantly female jury when the citizen population is approximately 50/50?
But we know that lawyers have perverted justice by playing games with who gets chosen to sit on a particular jury panel, instead of simply choosing 12 citizens at random. Clearly, the lawyers in this case did their best to select a biased jury pool – as shown by the result.
The bigger issue is that the legal profession has destroyed the confidence in the impartiality of the Law which had been built up over generations. Trust in the legal system has now been destroyed. Lawyers may game the system to get lots of money, but they no longer get any respect. Indeed, they no longer deserve any respect.
