The Crazy Years

I present the 2052 Democratic Party presidential nominee:

Is it just me or is there something wonderfully hilarious about this story?

“French” mayor.

French mayor Bally Bagayoko was recently seen protecting student protestors from police. https://t.co/h0m8ddG5aU

Is this a result of AI replacing use of stock images?

Was it a Muslim robot?

If so, it wouldn’t be molestation - just an ordinary, everyday, legal (under sharia) act.

Of course! But – what data had the AI been “trained” on that allowed it to be a low-cost alternative to the expensive photos created by human beings for Getty Images? Could that data have been from publications which included images they bought from Getty? Of course it was!

First, in the grossly over-lawyered USA, I sense a giant class action suit coming against the providers of AI models. They have been training their models on what functionally were copyrighted images, available to those who paid for them. Time for the AI community to pay up!

Second, with the contraction/demise of companies like Getty Images and Shutterstock, the supply of new up-to-date images to “train” AI will dry up. The AI generated slop will increasingly look dated and unappealing. AI will kill its own market, given time.

Just a quickie…
I’ve been getting scams via my gmail account to pay for things like virus protection, sirius, cloud storage, medical, online i-phone storage.
(I don’t have an i-phone, I don’t have sirus and I don’t need a baking soda erection remedy.)

I am constantly reporting this to google via this link:

Yet I see no action, the scams keep coming.
Granted they are filtered as such but sometimes one has to check to see if an important s hiding in spam folder.

Now I went to the FBI cyber crime site, https://www.ic3.gov/ to give them a tip, but one can not give a tip, only file a complaint if you got burned.

Damn them anyhow.

Next I went to whitehouse.gov and left a message that one can not give a tip, only file a complaint if one got burned.

I explained that there should be a tip area, not a burned area and that I’m not that stupid to get burned by phishing . I’m just trying to do a citizen type thing and alert them to a problem.

I ones wish the damned government would make things easy, just once.
That’s all I ask, just once…

Grok:

  • Kalshi’s post highlights a major Danish data breach where a hacker accessed the national CPR register through an IT vendor’s accounts using the weak password “123456,” exposing names, addresses, and IDs for 8.8 million people including deceased individuals.
  • The breach occurred in September 2026 via Pays ApS, a small authorized firm, with over 14 million automated queries executed before detection on an inflated invoice in early October.
  • It reveals third-party supply chain risks in government systems and led Danish authorities to warn against relying solely on CPR numbers for identity checks while investigating the incident.
