Here is the first full-duration hot fire test of the new RS-25E engine derived from the Space Shuttle’s RS-25, simplified and designed to be expendable.

Ignition occurs at the 6 minute mark in the video.

The test was conducted at NASA Stennis Space Center in Mississippi. These engines will be used on the first stage of the Space Launch System once the existing supply of surplus Shuttle RS-25s have been dumped into the ocean.
