Very timely. My PhD student daughter just had an opportunity to see the Delta Flume, which claims to generate the highest artificial waves on the planet. Unfortunately she only saw it from a distance since it wasn’t operating. She managed to visit a smaller wave generator while it was working, and get a tour, might have been since dad was bugging her to go see the Delta Flume before she left the country.
