Victor Davis Hanson on Writing, Wars, Silicon Valley, and Civilisational Collapse

About 15 years ago, my wife, one son and I traveled to Greece with a group led by Victor and colleague Bruce Thornton (who is also marvelous). When speaking of Victor, I first describe what is most significant and unusual about him: minimal to NO ego is involved in what he says. He is very understated and his assertions usually seem to flow of necessity from premises. I find him to be entirely credible and he offers me the most helpful understanding of a world full of chaos.
