Weekly Space Report: Busy Launch Pads!

Highlights:

  • Pad 2 Methane Quick Disconnect Hood mounted. Updated housing design.

  • Followed by Pad 2 Oxygen QD hood mounting.

  • Planned Air Separation plant relocated to other side of the road, nearer the ocean.

  • Beach closure announcements suggest static fire at Pad 1 on Tuesday or Wednesday.

  • Ship 37 Flaps installed–nearly ready for static fire.

  • Ship 38 nearly ready for cryo testing. (Which will still be at Massey’s.)

  • Massey’s electrical bunker rebuild in place, but with much more reinforcements.

  • Massey’s tank farm plumbing being moved into underground trenches, and tanks relocating further from test stand.

  • New subcoolers delivered to Massey’s.

  • Booster 13 (TF6) aft section recovered from the Gulf of America.
